I actually use these blankets as a top and bottom sheet in the winter with a wool blanket on top. The blankets are mostly cotton and are thick, warm and soft with a wonderful weight and drape. They are very hard to come by now and have also gone up in price over the years. Even so, I have found nothing that compares with the comfort and quality of these blankets so will continue to purchase a few more whenever I find them available on Amazon.
